TPWODL Joins 3rd National Lok Adalat to Facilitate Resolution of Electricity Theft Cases 

Consumers can resolve pending electricity theft and assessment cases through dedicated help desks at SDO and Section Offices . 

 Burla (Odisha Tazanews)  :- TP Western Odisha Distribution Limited (TPWODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and Government of Odisha, will participate in the 3rd National Lok Adalat being organised across India by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Odisha State Legal Services Authority (OSLSA) on 12 September 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The initiative provides consumers with an opportunity to resolve pending electricity theft and assessment cases through a fast, transparent and conciliatory process, helping facilitate quicker closure of eligible cases and reduce the need for prolonged legal proceedings. To support consumers, TPWODL has made arrangements at all its Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Section Offices. Dedicated help desks will assist consumers with documentation, verification, registration and payment-related formalities during the process.

Consumers with pending electricity theft and assessment cases are encouraged to visit their nearest SDO or Section Office in advance to complete the necessary preliminary formalities. This will help ensure a smoother process during the National Lok Adalat. Through its participation in the National Lok Adalat, TPWODL aims to facilitate timely resolution of pending cases while providing consumers with an accessible and transparent platform for dispute settlement.
