Pune  : Thackeray group vandalizes Swargate bus station in Pune, Vasant More aggressive

A shocking incident of a 26-year-old girl being raped at the Swargate bus depot in Pune has come to light. This incident, which took place at 5.30 am, has sparked a wave of anger across the city. This incident has once again brought to the fore the serious issue of women’s safety.

After this incident, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray group) has become aggressive, and leader Vasant More reached the Swargate bus depot. Along with angry workers, he vandalized the depot and the bus. “This incident is very unfortunate, we will follow up on this. We will respond to this in Shiv Sena style,” Vasant More clarified.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the Shivshahi bus in which this atrocity took place belongs to a different depot. The security lapses in this bus are even more shocking. There was no lock on the bus door and only a rope was tied to the cabin door. This has raised serious questions about the security arrangements of the ST Corporation.

After this incident, the issue of women’s safety has come to the fore again, and strong displeasure is being expressed by the public over the administration’s stance. Citizens have demanded that the police take strict action in this matter.
