17Th Jan 2025 (Odisha Tazanews) Pune :-> A private individual was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Department for demanding and accepting bribes for the relevant Talathi for recording alterations and Satbara at Saja Fursungi (Tel. Haveli) . The process of registering a case against him is underway at Hadapsar Police Station, Pune city. The name of the person who accepted the bribe is Thaksen alias Tushar Galande (age 42, resident of Narayan Nagar, Fursungi village, Taluka Haveli, District Pune).
The detailed information in this regard is that the complainant in this case has been given the authority to carry out the work related to the modification of the property purchased by Dhananjay Ramchandra Benkar (resident of Dhayri village, Pune) in Group No. 309, Survey No. 138 and the registration of Satbara through a government authority letter. Accordingly, the complainant was pursuing the modification of the land purchased by Benkar and registering it on Satbara Uta.
Accordingly, the complainant had filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Department, Pune, that when the complainant went to the Talathi office, Phursungi, a private individual, Thaksen alias Tushar Galande, demanded a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from the complainant to register a change and register a Satbara for the concerned Talathi Chaudhary.
When the said complaint was verified before the Pancha, Thaksen alias Tushar Galande demanded a bribe of Rs. 10,000 from the complainant to register a change and register a Satbara for the concerned Talathi and his superiors, and accepted the first installment of Rs. 5,000 from the complainant before the Pancha. He was caught red-handed, and the process of registering a case under Section 7A of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, has been initiated against the private individual, Thaksen alias Tushar Galande, at Hadapsar Police Station, Pune City.
The said action was taken by the Pune Anti-Corruption Department under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police/Superintendent of Police Shirish Sardeshpande, Anti-Corruption Department Pune Area, Pune and Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Sheetal Janve, Anti-Corruption Department Pune. Further investigation is being conducted by Police Inspector Amol Bhosale.
