4 Mar 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Pune:-> Incidents of fire in flats have increased in Pune. A flat in Gangadham Society, Kondhwa Khurd, was caught on fire at 2 pm today at 2 pm in Solitaire Wadhwa, an 11-storey building located at the rear of Amanora Park in Hadapsar. In this incident, all the materials in the flat got burnt. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this incident. The exact cause of the fire could not be ascertained. A major disaster was averted as the fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.

A few fire engines from Hadapsar and BT Kavade Road Fire Station were dispatched to the spot.As soon as the personnel reached the spot, they saw that there was a fire in flat number 4 on the second floor of the building. Also, at the time of the fire, the apartment was closed as no one was in the apartment. After that, when the owner of the flat opened the main door with the key, it was seen that the fire had broken out in a big way.
It was also felt that the amount of smoke was high.The firemen immediately checked that there was no one inside and started hitting the fire with water, taking care that the fire does not spread to other neighboring flats and brought the fire under control in about thirty minutes. After this the fire was completely extinguished by starting the cooling operation.

Before the help of the force reached the place, a fire engine from Amanora Park was trying to douse the fire. It is believed that the fire in the flat was due to an electrical short circuit and fortunately no one was injured or killed.It was noticed that the permanent fire extinguisher in the building was not working at the time of the incident.
In this fire, household materials as well as wooden furniture and electrical appliances have been burnt and there has been a huge loss.Fire Officer Anil Gaikwad along with Tandel Ambadas Darade, Driver Nilesh Bhosle, Chandrakant Jagtap and Firemen Dattatray Mane, Pradip Sawant, Vaibhav Bhosle, Anil Hake, Ghule participated in extinguishing the fire.
