Pune metro is expanding the metro lines

23 January 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Pune :-> Metro work has been completed on some routes in Pune and metro is running on those routes. But the work on some roads is still incomplete. The work of expanding metro lines in Pune city is now going to gain momentum. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has issued some important orders to the concerned regarding the expansion of Pune Metro route. Therefore, there are signs that the metro work will be completed soon in the city.

At present, there are two routes in the city: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Swargate, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to Civil Court and Vanas Ruby Hall Clinic from Vanas to Ramwadi. The rest of this route i.e. Civil Court to Swargate and Ruby Hall Clinic to Ramwadi will also open for passengers soon. In this way, important updates have been received regarding the metro line in the city (Pune Metro).

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has ordered the stakeholders to make a tripartite agreement between Mahametro, state government and central government regarding the expansion of Swargate-Katraj and Pimpri-Nigdi metro lines. Also, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has also suggested that a technical report should be prepared for the expansion of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s metro lines i.e. Swargate to Loni Kalbhor, Hadapsar to Kharadi and Ramwadi to Wagholi metro lines (Pune Metro).

Along with this, Deputy Chief Minister Pawar has also suggested that a flyover for pedestrians should be constructed at Raj Bhavan under the Shivajinagar Hinjewadi Metro route. However, he assured that he would try to get the approval of the Central Government for this revised project in this situation. He gave this order to the concerned in an important meeting recently held in the Ministry regarding the Metro (Pune Metro), so now the metro will be expanded in the city of Pune soon.
