KHURDA ROAD DIVISION CONDUCTED CLOSING CEREMONY OF HINDI PAKHWADA -2026 AND 151st DIVISIONAL OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE MEETING

Khurda Road (Odisha Tazanews) :- The 151st Divisional Official Language Implementation Committee Meeting along with closing ceremonty of Hindi Pakhwada-2026 was conducted by the Rajbhasha Department of Khurda Road Division under the chairmanship of Shri D. Sunil, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road.

Addressing the meeting, Shri D. Sunil emphasized the importance of promoting the use of Hindi in official work. He said that Hindi serves as a language that connects people across the country and encouraged railway officials and staff to make greater use of Hindi in their day-to-day official communication.

He also suggested various measures to encourage employees to undertake official work in Hindi. The meeting also reviewed the various activities undertaken by the Rajbhasha Department to promote the use and importance of Hindi in official work. The progress made towards achieving the prescribed targets for the implementation of Hindi,

as outlined in the Annual Programme of the Ministry of Home Affairs, was also discussed. The members reviewed the status of compliance with the prescribed targets and emphasized the need for continued efforts to promote the effective use of Hindi in official communication and work.

During the programme, merit certificates were presented to employees who participated in the various Hindi Competitions organized by the Rajbhasha Department on the account of Hindi-Pakhwada-2026. Shri Rajdhari Yadav, Additional Chief Rajbhasha Adhikari and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Infra), Shri P. K. Behera,

Additional Divisional Railway Manager (OP), along with all Branch Officers of Khurda Road Division, were present at the programme. The programme was coordinated by Smt. Usha Rani, Sr. Rajbhasha Adhikari, Khurda Road Division, with the active support and coordination of all Rajbhasha Department staff.
