Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar Organizes Live Operative Workshop on Laparoscopy – VPCON 2024

29th November 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Bhubaneswar :->  Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar successfully hosted a unique live endoscopy surgery workshop as part of VPCON 2024, organized in collaboration with IAGE (Indian Association of Gynecological Endoscopists) and AOGO (Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Odisha). The workshop was graced by eminent experts, including Prof. (Dr.) P.C. Mahapatra, Prof. (Dr.) Janmejay Mohapatra, Odisha Chapter Chairperson of IAGE, Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Mishra, Secretary (Odisha Chapter), Dr. Manoranjan Mohapatra, and Co-Chairperson Dr. Sujit Behera. The organizing committee, comprising Dr. Manoranjan Mohapatra, Dr. Sujit Behera, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Dr. Monica Gupta, Dr. Sibani Devi, and Dr. Bharat Bhushan, efficiently managed and coordinated all aspects of the workshop, including live surgeries and overall event supervision.

Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Senior Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynecological Surgery at Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar, highlighted that nationally acclaimed surgeons from Odisha and across India performed live surgeries on complex cases involving fibroids and endometriosis. These surgeries were witnessed by delegates and participating doctors. "We had keen and productive interactions with all the delegates and surgeons during the workshop," said Dr. Kaur.
