The Five days long Mega exhibition scheduled for 1st to 5th August witnessed display of Forty numbers of masterpieces drawn by Shri Biswal showcasing wide range of subjects like apostle of peace Lord Buddha,
Highest Temple of Justice Supreme court, human facets of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, serenity of natural landscapes and quint essence and fragrance of womanhood. The Inaugural session of the exhibition was attended by hundreds of distinguished dignitaries. Starting from discriminating art lovers to celebrated culture critics, everybody lauded and applauded the creative genius of Shri Biswal.
Kulamani Biswal has been a kaleidoscopic personality having expertise and excellence in several fields. With Finance, Management and Law qualifications from premier institutes, he has had the proud privilege of ascending to the coveted positions of Director Finance in leading PSUs like MCL and NTPC.Presently he is practicing as an Advocate and rendering his services as Consultant and Advisor to several leading organisations.
Away from becoming highly successful in his professional career, Shri Biswal has also been making his mark as a prolific poet, passionate painter and a scintillating singer also. Talking to Media the Painter Kulamani Biswal observed that “Finance and Management are my career. Painting and Poetry are my prime hobbies. I have always been trying to excel in my profession.
But I always manage to carve out sometime to nurture my hobbies like drawing paintings and writing poems. I have interest in painting and Odia literature since my childhood. I love reading Odia Kavyas and poems of legendary Odia Poets. I always love painting of scenic beauty of nature.
I am greatly inspired by the personalities of Gautam Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So most of my paintings revolves around their principles and philosophies. I also paint on contemporary issues. Buddham Saranam Gachhami, Abhisarika, Pratibimb,
Nainital, Ansupa etc are some of the titles of my paintings. I have a strong believe that one can do anything and everything in case the person is committed to the purpose. A hardcore Financial expert can also be a first rate painter or front ranking poet even without having any formal training like Ekalavya.”
Complementing Shri Biswal’s art work famous Sculptor and Vice President of ICCR Adwaita Gadanayak commented that he is a painter par excellence, who captures the mood and movements of nature and humans in immaculate manner. Attending the function as Distinguished Guest M.P. from Jajpur Dr Rabindra Narayan Behera observed that Shri Biswal has displayed rarest quality of achieving excellence as a top notch administrator and outstanding painter.
Speaking during the occasion as Guests of Honour eminent painter Jatin Das, Former Ambassador Amarendra Khatua, Chairman, World Odisha Society Kishore Dwibedi and Executive Director of P.G.C.I.L Y.V. Dixit, described the paintings of Kulamani Biswal as extraordinary and wished him all success.
Expressing his gratitude over all round acknowledgement and acclamation about his paintings, the man of the moment Kulamani Biswal said that this exhibition has been organised to exhibit and sell the paintings for a noble purpose. The proceeds of the sale will be utilised for the development of the school he has adopted in his village and to grant scholarships to the meritorious students in that school; shri Biswal added.
