Pune (Odisha Tazanews) Pune :-> Water supply in Pune city is running late on Friday as work is underway to install meters on the main pipeline coming from Khadakwasla Dam to Padmavati Pumping Station. Due to this, the Pune Municipal Corporation has informed that citizens are likely to get water only between 1 and 2 pm.
The Municipal Corporation has appealed to citizens to take note of the situation and store the required amount of water. Meanwhile, water supply to the entire city was shut down from Wednesday midnight to Thursday midnight due to urgent repair work related to electricity, pumping and construction at various water treatment plants in the city.
Against this backdrop, it was already expressed that water supply will be late and with low pressure on Friday morning. However, the ongoing work of installing meters has further delayed the start of water supply. The administration has appealed to citizens to use water wisely.
