Odisha Taza News ( 4 February, Friday ) Delhi :- Biju Janata Dal Rajya Sabha MPs Shri . Prasanna Acharya, Dr. Amar Patnaik, Dr. Sasmit Patra and Shri. Prashanta Nanda during the Zero Hour in Rajya Sabha today, raised the issue of non-evacuation of suplus par-boiled rice by Food Corporation of India from Odisha . They stated that the Centre should lift surplus par-boiled rice from Odisha which it has stopped arbitrarily.
This action of not lifting surplus par-boiled rice from Odisha would severely affect the farmers of Odisha. The BJD MPs demanded that the Centre should immediately start lifting the surplus par-boiled rice from Odisha without fail. The video with details is provided.

Today during Zero Hour in Rajya Sabha, the Biju Janata Dal MPs Dr. Sasmit Patra, Dr. Amar Patnaik and Shri. Sujeet Kumar raised the issue of Centre not opening the Awas Plus Portal of PMAY(G) for addition of 6 lakh houses of Odisha which comprises of primarily tribals from the western, southern and KBK districts of Odisha.
They further stated how despite Hon’ble CM Shri. Naveen Patnaik’s repeated requests the Awas Portal is not being opened while it was opened for Karnataka to add 25 lakh houses on 13th January, 2022. The BJD MPs demanded the Awas Plus Portal of the PMAY(G) be opened immediately so that the 6 lakh people of Odisha who are primarily tribals from scheduled areas would benefit.
