Alumni meet of Department of Home science, Berhampur University on

25th Nov 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) BBSR :-> The department of Home Science has organized 1st Alumni meet to connect former students with alma mater to offer their voluntary services and to donate funds or materials. V.C.Prof. Geetanjali Dash as chief guest, Chairman,P.G.C., Prof. Sukant Kumar Tripathy, the guest of honour, H.o.D., Dr. Sasmita Behera, Retired Prof. Ratna Sahoo and Scientist, K.V.K, Bhanjanagar, Mrs. Anita Patra were on the dias. The meeting was coordinated by Mrs. Alita Minz and Mrs. Manasee Meher.

The departmental News letter, Conference Proceedings in the form of book, two text books written by Dr. Sasmita Behera were also released in the meeting. Many distinguished alumni were felicitated. After formal meeting a general body meeting was held and members of executive bodies were voted by the alumni members.

Professor Ratna Sahoo ,Mrs. Anita Parto, Dr. Sasmita Behera, Dr. Rita Hansdah and Mrs. Manasee Meher.were selected as President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer . In the afternoon colourful cultural event was coordinated by Miss. Ashmita Beura, where both alumni and present P.G. students were actively participated. The vote of thanks was given by Mrs, Alita Minz, Asst.Prof. of department of Home Science.
