26th March 2023 (Odisha Tazanews) Bhubaneswar :- Cohen International School (CIS), one of the leading educational institutions of Odisha has announced launch of Odisha’s first ‘Aero Space Integrated Curriculum’ for its students from academic year 2023-24. The school has also established the “Cohen Aero-Space Centre of Excellence” to provide state of the art learning experience for its students in the field of aero-space. The Aero-Space Integrated Curriculum has been designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principle of aero-space.
The Cohen Aero Space Centre of Excellence will serve as a hub for aerospace education and research, providing students with access to cutting edge technology, research facilities and industry experts. Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Chairman, OERC will inaugurate the state of art Centre of Excellence and Integrated Curriculum as chief guest on 26th March 2023, Sunday. To further develop STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths) learning, we are going to introduce a one of its kind – Aerospace Integrated Curriculum from Class 1 to 11 as well as a state of the art- Cohen Aerospace Centre of Excellence, an 1100 sq ft of high-tech lab for the students. The core offering shall impart students with skills and competencies so they can build a career or Entrepreneurial path in the domains of Aerospace, Space, Meteorology, E-Transportation, AI, Architect, Product design and Entrepreneurship. We aim at inculcating an essential “innovation culture” in the young minds. Cohen’s Aerobay-K-12 Experimental Learning program is a new-age experiential learning program that combines learning with interactive STEAM-based programs for students which shall equip them with skill such as
Design Thinking, EntrepreneurialMindset, Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation, Social and Collaborative Attitude and Critical and Analytical Thinking Ability. STEAM is a teaching philosophy that combines the idea of learning with the help of collaborative Problem solving and practical applications.
