Action of traffic police against bullet drivers

12 Feb 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Pune:-> The police have taken action against 571 two wheeler drivers who were making loud noise by changing the silencer of the motor cycle within the limits of Pune City Police Commissionerate. In the last two days, this action has been taken in Airport, Handewadi, Koregaon Park, Deccan, Bharti Vidyapeeth and Hadapsar Traffic Department.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashikant Borate has ordered that action should be taken against the shopkeepers selling such silencers within the limits of Pune City Police Commissionerate.

Many localities in the city are adding to the noise pollution by using vehicles modified with silencers day and night. Pune city traffic branch has launched a special campaign in the entire city of Pune to take action against motorists driving such motorcycles.In this regard, the Pune city traffic branch has appealed to the citizens.

If the motorist is found driving a modified Silence motorcycle within the limits of the Pune City Commissionerate, the information should be reported to the Pune City Traffic Branch WhatsApp number 8087240400 along with the vehicle number and location. Also, action will be taken against the shopkeepers who sell such silencers, the order said.
