Eastern India Regional Students’ Conference–2026 to be Held at Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha Tazanews) :- The Bhubaneswar Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organized a Press Meet at CMA Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, to brief the media about the forthcoming Eastern India Regional Students’ Conference–2026 titled “ज्ञानोत्थान 2026”, scheduled to be held on 10th May 2026 at the Convention Centre, Campus–2, SOA University, Bhubaneswar.

During address to Addressing the media, the organizers informed that the conference, themed “Rise through Knowledge”, aims to provide a common platform for CMA students, academicians, industry experts, and professionals to exchange ideas, enhance professional knowledge, and encourage holistic learning.

The press meet , addressed by CMA Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, Immediate Former President; CMA Ashish P. Thatte, Council Member and CMA Suresh R. Gunjalli, Council Member, CMA Damodar Mishra, Vice Chairman, ICMAI–EIRC, CMA Uttam Kumar Nayak , Former Chairman & RCM, ICMAI- EIRC, CMA Sarat Kumar Behera, Chairman, ICMAI Bhubaneswar Chapter; CMA Soumya Ranjan Jena , Secretary, ICMAI Bhubaneswar Chapter.

The organizers further stated that more than 1,200 students from different parts of the country are expected to participate in the conference. The programme will feature technical and motivational sessions on contemporary topics such as Income Tax Act, 2025 & Latest Rules, Artificial Intelligence & FinTech, and Motivation & Leadership, along with interactive sessions with eminent personalities and industry leaders.

It was also highlighted that a commemorative Student Souvenir, comprising articles, poems, and creative writings by students, will be released during the conference. The event has been conceptualized to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical exposure while motivating students towards professional excellence. The organizers appealed to students, professionals, academicians, and other stakeholders to extend their wholehearted support and participation for the grand success of the conference.
