Bhubaneshwar (Odisha Tazanews) :- Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, the 100% subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group and maker of the iconic Vespa and sporty Aprilia range of two-wheelers, has officially introduced its much-anticipated naked performance bike, the Aprilia Tuono 457 for Bhubaneshwar. The Aprilia Tuono 457 received an overwhelming response for pre-bookings and will now be available for customers in Bhubaneswar for test rides as well as deliveries at Hindustan Wheels, Gajapati Nagar, Near Apollo Hospital. 

The Aprilia Tuono 457 is the naked sibling of the Aprilia RS 457 with the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, parallel front twin-cylinder engine with double camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder. It develops a maximum power output of 35 kW (47.6 hp) at 9,400 rpm and torque of 43.5 Nm at 6,700 rpm, 82% of which is available as early as 3,000 rpm.

The Tuono 457 is an all-new design with designers penning it from a clean sheet. It features pared-back lines and compact surfaces of a true naked bike – an evolution of the stylistic language that makes all Aprilia bikes instantly recognisable and utterly unique. The Ride-by-Wire system manages the engine with three riding modes that adjust the power and torque delivery and the traction control,

which can be set to three levels and disengaged. The Aprilia Riding Modes are also conceived to make life in the saddle easier. In this, the rider simply selects the mode best suited to their riding style or situation to enjoy the optimal engine management and traction control settings.

The brand has introduced an industry-first, auto-guided diagnosis tool, developed in-house by Piaggio, across its showrooms. In addition, Aprilia’s aftersales service expansion includes the development of a dedicated facility at its Baramati manufacturing unit to ensure the availability of ample spare parts. The localised parts, designed in Italy and developed in India, ensure customers never face any challenges with original spare part availability.

Aprilia’s dealer partners will receive a robust kit of spare parts every month based on their requirements. The Aprilia Tuono 457 is available in two colour variants – Piranha Red and Puma Gray. The Piranha Red livery boasts the classic colours of Aprilia’s history – black and red – which serve to highlight the sporty nature of the Tuono 457. The Puma Gray version features more sober colours, grey and white, which lend the Tuono 457 a more urban look.
