Electricity supply has been restored in several districts of Southern Odisha, while restoration work continues in other affected locations. Field teams have been working to repair damaged distribution infrastructure and restore supply despite waterlogging, debris and difficult site conditions. Around 6,500 personnel have been deployed across Southern Odisha to support the restoration operations. The teams are backed by approximately 400 vehicles, six mobile distribution substations and 16 transit stores to facilitate the movement of personnel, equipment and essential materials. During the visits, Mr. Garg stressed the importance of close field-level coordination, timely response to consumer concerns and strict adherence to safety procedures. TPSODL continues to monitor the situation and remains focused on restoring electricity supply to all affected consumers at the earliest.
