Bhubaneswar (Odisha Tazanews) :- Vedanta Aluminium Coal Mines, India’s largest aluminium producer, has extended nutritional support, counselling and follow-up care to over 180 tuberculosis (TB) patients in Balishankara Block of Sundargarh district through its Nikshay Mitra initiative. The programme aims to strengthen treatment adherence, improve recovery outcomes and support the well-being of patients throughout their treatment journey. As part of the initiative, over 717 nutrition kits have been distributed, alongside regular counselling and awareness sessions, reinforcing community healthcare at the grassroots level.
