Pune (Odisha Tazanews) Pune :-> The leaders and administration, who are giving the slogan of Swachh Bharat with great pomp, seem to have collapsed in actual action. A pile of garbage has been lying in front of Azam Campus Pass Gate No. 2 in Pune Cantonment area for many days, and the citizens are getting sick due to the foul smell.
Thousands of school students, college kids and auto-rickshaw and four-wheeler drivers commute on this route every day. But it seems that no one cares about their health. Diseases can spread due to piles of garbage, but the administration has gone into a ‘sleepy slumber’.
Citizens have complained that local MPs, MLAs, corporators and corporators are all peacefully ‘sleeping’ instead of listening to the problems of the people. Be it the cantonment council or the municipal corporation – neither of their vehicles have been seen here, the citizens have to tell them with a heavy heart.
“The photos are in front of us, the stench of garbage is bothering everyone, but no one is paying attention. So what exactly should the public expect from the administration?” the citizens have raised this question.
