Bhubaneswar (Odisha Tazanews) :- ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) under its CSR flagship Project ‘Aarogya’ observed National Nutrition Month at its operational locations across Odisha as part of its commitment to the health and well-being of the community. This year’s theme, ‘Eat Right for a Better Life’, aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, which promotes healthy and balanced diets for overall well-being across all age groups. As part of the campaign, awareness sessions were organised across Paradeep, Sagasahi and Thakurani mines marking the commencement of the nutrition month.
In Paradeep, awareness session was organised at Nuagarh Gram Panchayat office to promote nutritional awareness, especially among women and adolescent girls. The event was graced by Shri Debendra Rout, Sarpanch, Nuagarh and Dr. Niranjan Diwedi, Medical Officer, Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), Paradeep. Dr. Diwedi addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of a balanced diet for overall health and development. More than 200 participants attended the programme including Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANM) staff, adolescent girls and women of the nearby villages.
