New Delhi (Odisha Tazanews) :- Kalinga Gourav Foundation hosted the 12th edition of “I Woman of Substance Awards” presentation ceremony in New Delhi with pomp, splendour and much fanfare. The venue Amphitheater at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi was aesthetically and elegantly decked up with colourful curtains and lights befitting to the grand occasion.
The ceremony was attended by leading Women leaders, Noted Women Professionals from cross sections of the Society, celebrities and prominent personalities.Since the Awards being presented for the first time in National Capital, unusual interest, unexpected enthusiasm and unprecedented excitements were found among the organisers and participants. The entire ambience was agog with Festive Fervour.
The highlight of the programme was a high voltage Panel Discussion on the contribution of Women towards Vikasit Bharat. The Panelists were Dr. Anita Panda, Rashmi Sahoo, Dr. Kavita Rao, Beauty Srivastava, Rinki Sodha Rajput and Ruchi Dubey. The Discussion was ably moderated by Shyama Jha. The Ceremony witnessed the Mega release of Women Parliament 2025 magazine and logo of Iconic Sports Federation (ISF).
The “I Woman of Substance Award” symbolises supreme salutation to the essence, ebullience and excellence of women from diverse domains recognizing their sterling contributions to society, industry and Nation building. Instituted by Kalinga Gourav Foundation, the coveted Awards are being presented annually to Women achievers of National and International repute.
The Award carries special significance because of the social service tag attached to it. Each Awardee is supposed to adopt an under privileged girl child in collaboration with Bittiya Foundation.
