18Th December, 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Khordha-jatni :-> Khurda Road Division has organized Inter Divisional Cultural Competition for Dance at Kalyan Mandap, Traffic colony.The Cultural dance teams of all the three Railway Divisions of East Coast Railway i.e Visakhapatnam, Sambalpur, Khurda Road and zonal Headquarters have participated in this competition.
Sri H.S.Bajwa, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road and Smt Gursimran Kaur, President,East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare organization, Khurda Road were graced the occasion.Shri Subhra Jyoti Mandal, Additional Divisional Railway Manager(Infra) and other Branch officers were present during the occassion.
Competitions for Classical Solo dance and Group dance were connducted between the four cultural teams, consisting of Railway employees and their dependents. Shri H.S.Bajwa, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road distributed certificates & prizes to the winners and advised all the participants to continue cultural activities.
In the Inter divisional cultural competition, Shri Sanjeev Deb,Office Superintendent from zonal head quarters became the winner in the Classical Solo dance competition and the cultural team from Sambalpur division became winner of the Group dance competition.
The winners of the Inter Divisional cultural competetions will represent East Coast Railway in the Inter Railway Cultural Competeions,to be held in the recent future.Shri R.N.A.Parida, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer of Khurda Road Division, co-ordinated the programme.
