25Th Nov 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Pune :-> Bapusaheb Pathare of the Nationalist Congress-Sharad Pawar group has won the Vadgaonsheri assembly constituency election. He defeated the sitting MLA Sunil Tingre of the Nationalist Congress-Ajit Pawar group. The election was highly contested due to village-bhavaki politics.
Pathare gets the MLA’s crown after 10 years
Bapusaheb Pathare has got the MLA’s crown again after ten years since 2009. In this election, the picture of internal discontent within the Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti was clear from the beginning. From activists to former corporators, many people were in a state of confusion. BJP had also staked claim in this constituency, but later their preparations waned.
Issues in the constituency are serious
Basic problems like roads, water, electricity, and health in the Vadgaonsheri constituency still persist. Citizens say that the increasing population and unauthorized constructions are causing floods. Apart from this, there is an urgent need to improve the drainage system.
Local expectations have increased
Pathare will now have to take an active part in solving the problems in the constituency.

Traffic congestion and poor road conditions
Solution to water supply and electricity problems
Building a network of monsoon channels to prevent flooding
Controlling illegal businesses and increasing crime
Speeding up health facilities and development projects
Need for development, not politics
Citizens have expressed their view that politics should not be allowed to hinder development work. “Pathare should make sincere efforts for development,” the public expects. Now it will be important to see whether concrete solutions are found to the problems of Vadgaonsheri under Pathare’s leadership.
