26th September 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) BBSR :-> To leverage technology to reach out to customers, Canara Bank took an innovative initiative to use Mobile LED Van named as “Canara Rath” for promoting Bank’s Product and creating Financial awareness among General Public. The event was inaugurated by Canara Bank General Manager & State Head Shri Jagdish Chander.
While addressing to Media personnel and general public, Shri Jagdish Chander Sir informed that in the next 5-6 Days, Canara Rath will cover major cities in Odisha viz. Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Sambalpur, Rourkela and Berhampur touching 10-15 Branches/Market locations in each city. Canara Rath will highlights banks latest products and offerings in Housing Loan, Vehicle Loan, Gold Loan, MSME Loan and Retail Term Deposit. 
Canara Bank Bhubaneswar Regional Head and other Executives from Circle Office and Regional Office were present at the venue. Canara Bank General Manager informed that through this Canara Rath, in addition to traditional banking services, we are also promoting direct benefit schemes that aim to provide financial assistance directly to the people who need it most.
This includes government subsidies and welfare programs, which are vital for improving the quality of life in our communities. This initiative was well appreciated by all participants as this event was not just about Canara Bank; it’s about fostering a culture of Financial awareness and empowerment .
