7th August, 2024 (Odisha Tazanews) Cuttack :-> the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his income by Sri Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Block Development officer(BDO), Athagarh, Dist-Cuttack, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 6 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, 10 ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar at the 8 following places in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Nayagarh, and Athagarh (Cuttack).
1) Residential house of Sri Sahu at Flat No. 6, 2nd floor, Shree Enclave, Gautam Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
2) Single storeyed building over plot no 444/1439 at Bhaliabadi near old PS, Khordha.
3) Triple storeyed building at Rajsunakhala Sahi, Rajsunakhala, Dist-Nayagarh.
4) Single storeyed building at Rajsunakhala, Dist-Nayagarh.
5) Paternal house of Sri Sahu located at Rajsunakhala,Dist- Nayagarh.
6) House of his relative located at Pichukuli, Dist-Khordha.
7) Official residence of Sri Sahu at Athagarh.
8) Office chamber of Sri Sahu at Block premises of Athagarh.

During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Sahu and his family members;
1) 1 building at Bhalibadi near Old PS, Khrodha.
2) Another building at Raj Sunakhala, Nayagarh.
3) 1 Flat vide No.6 2nd Floor, Shree Enclave, Goutam Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
4) 3 plots in Khordha and Raj Sunakhala, Nayagarh. Details as under;
i) A piece of land vide plot No.440/1439 of area 0.54 dcml., mauza Bhaliabadi, Khordha.
ii) A piece of land vide plot No.2183, Khata No.460, mauza Raj Sunakhala, Nayagarh.
iii) A piece of land vide plot No.1869/3224, Khata No.1095/430, mauza Raj Sunakhala, Nayagarh.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/flat/Plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.
5) Cash Rs.6 Lakhs.
6) Gold jewellery weighing approx 300 gms, Silver ornaments approx 500 gms
7) Bank, Postal, Insurance & other deposits are under verification.
