12th October 2023 (Odisha Tazanews) Khordha – jatni :- Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting organized by the Khurda Road Division at Officer’s Rest House. The meeting conducted under the chairmanship of Shri H.S.Bajwa, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road. Secretary of the Committee Cum Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Khurda Road, Shri Amitesh Anand, welcomed all the members present in the meeting and placed a brief description regarding the various ongoing developmental works & passenger amenity works initiated by the Division for the benefit of Rail Users, during the year.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri H.S.Bajwa said that, the valuable opinion and suggestions of the DRUCC members are very much essential to serve the Rail users affectively.The members of the committee put forth various issues related to passenger amenities and services like additional stoppages of trains at some important stations,
extension/diversion of some trains, change of name of some Railway stations, provision of parking area, proper cleaning of lenins etc. The Committee appreciated division for the on going re’developmental works at various Railway station under Amrit Bharat station scheme.
In replying to the suggestions, recommendations and demands of the DRUCC members Shri H.S.Bajwa, DRM, Khurda Road, assured that as per the feasibility and norms, the issues will be appraised to higher authorities for early compliance.
DRUCC members, Shri R.K.Sarangi, Shri Guru Charan Ray, Shri Dharmesh Nayak, Shri Sisir Kumar Mishra, Shri Biswa Ranjan Mohanty, Mohammad Faruque and Shri Pratap Kumar Champati were present in the Meeting. Shri Kalyan Pattanaik, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operation) and Branch officers of the division were also present in the meeting.
