29thAugust 2023 (Odisha Tazanews) Jatni :-> East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road observed National Sports Day, with an aim to pay tributes to the Wizard of Indian Hockey, Major Dhyan Chand,on his birth anniversery. Celebrating the National Sports day,friendly Volleyball match was organized in which Centurion college,Jatni college, Sports hostel, Bhubaneswar and East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road participated.
Further to promote the importance of sports and to encourage Railway staff and their wards to be physically active and mentally sharp,Badminton competition was organised at Khurda Road, Cuttack and Palasa.Chess competition was organized at Palasa and karate competition was organized at Cuttack.
All the activities of the National Sports Day were organized by the members of East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road, under the guidance of Shri Himadri Bhusan Biswal, Sports officer and Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Khurda Road and Secretary of ECORSA,Khurda Road,
