22th,April 2023 ( Odisha Tazanews) BBSR :- Goals from Nandha in the 10th and 64th minute, as well as Diego’s 85th minute strike, propel Odisha FC to a victory over Northeast United FC, securing their spot in the Hero Super Cup 2023 final. NEUFC took an early lead at just 2 minutes into the game, Roccharzela’s cross was put into the goal by Jordan Gil to score the opener In the 10th minute, the equalizer was scored by Nandha Kumar who headed in from Jerry’s spot-on cross. The goalkeeper was unmoved. 
The Juggernauts ended the half on a high but couldn’t take the lead. In the 47th minute, Odisha’s Victor Rodriguez sent a threatening cross but Nandha missed the ball. NEUFC was caught on the counter by Mauricio who found Victor on the right flank, but the opponent team managed to crowd the defence.
In the 64th minute, Nandhakumar scored again with a brilliant goal for Odisha. He drove in from the left, played a one-two with Victor Rodriguez, and smashed it into the roof of the net to take the lead in the game. in 84th minutes Aniket tested Mirshad as he found Mauricio inside the box and fired a shot that was close to the NEUFC keeper. Mirshad, however, made a good save.
In the 85th minute of the game, Mauricio finally scored for OFC. He showed pure desire as he hunted down a rebounded cross, twisted past a defender, and slotted the ball into the bottom corner with a low effort. That was his 50th appearance for Odisha. A clinical performance from the Juggernauts, with Nandhakumar grabbing a brace and Mauricio scored the decisive goal for Odisha in the end to take Odisha into the Final. This will be first ever final for Odisha in any competition. The final of the Hero Super Cup 2023 will be played on April 25th between Odisha FC and Bengaluru.
